B&D Land Investments was started in 2022 by Christian Burns and Jake Davidson, two lifelong best friends who grew up in the woods and on the water. With growing families and the drive to build something of their own, they started B&D and now run every project together out of Billings, Montana.
Co-founder, Acquisitions & Land Analysis
Christian leads land analysis and acquisitions. He evaluates each property’s development path, from access and zoning to what the finished lots will sell for, and structures every project before it moves forward. Outside of work you’ll find him fishing tournaments, hunting, or spending time with friends and family.
Co-founder, Project Operations
Jake runs project operations, including title and closing, county coordination, surveyors and the realtors who bring finished lots to market. He came to land development from product engineering and holds a degree in physics. Honesty, integrity and family come first for him, and outside of work he’s with his growing family and their dog.

Adrian supports our acquisitions work and keeps new opportunities organized and moving. He lives by “Great things come from small beginnings,” and balances a serious work ethic with biking and basketball in his free time.
